Cutting through the noise: Innovative strategies to boost brand visibility

Every day, people encounter hundreds—if not thousands—of messages, including ads, emails, texts, social posts, signs, videos, and more. With so much competition for attention, how can your business stand out? Here are creative strategies to help your brand connect with your audience and rise above the noise.

Text messaging has become an essential communication tool for businesses. According to SimpleTexting.com, “80% of businesses are using SMS marketing software to text their customers in 2024,” a significant increase from 55% in 2022.

  • Remember, shorter messages can also reduce costs, as some platforms charge more for texts over 160 characters.

For example, my client Comizio Orthodontics has seasonal contests like their Halloween Costume Contest, Pumpkin Weight Guessing Contest, and Super Bowl Contest. These activities encourage creativity, family participation, and positive interactions with your brand. Winners are rewarded with prizes like Amazon gift cards.

Podcasts are an excellent way to build your brand’s credibility and foster trust. Edison Research found that 47% of the U.S. population aged 12 and older listens to podcasts monthly. Consistently publishing episodes allows you to share insights, connect with your audience, and establish authority in your industry.

4. Host In-Person Customer Appreciation Events
Complement your online efforts with an annual in-person event. Options include open houses, workshops, holiday parties, grand openings, or anniversary celebrations. You can include a charitable element, such as raffles supporting a nonprofit.
